Former Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Desean Jackson is now a Washington Redskin.

The news broke late on Tuesday night.  According to NBC Washington, Jackson spent much of Monday and Tuesday meeting with the Redskins front office to work out a deal.

Jackson was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles back in 2008.  Until now, he spent his entire career with the Eagles.  But, they cut him last week.  After he was released by the Eagles, a report surfaced that claimed Jackson was connected to a gang.

On the field, Jackson had his best year in 2013.  He caught 82 passes for 1,332 yards, both career highs.  He tied his career high for touchdown receptions with 9.
