Listen to Lana Del Rey on iHeartRadio

Lana Del Rey has unveiled a new single called "Shades Of Cool."  She dropped the moody ballad on Monday, using the holiday to also make her upcoming album Ultraviolence available for pre-order on iTunes.  The pre-sale launch for Lana's album gives fans free downloads of both "Shades Of Cool" and earlier-released lead single "West Coast."

The new song was written by Rick Nowels, who was responsible for her Born To Die hit "Summertime Sadness" as well as "Young and Beautiful" from The Great Gatsby soundtrack.

The new music comes after Lana spent the weekend traveling to France to perform at the rehearsal dinner for Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's lavish European wedding.  The album is set to arrive on June 17th.
