Lifetime is going after R. Kelly and his alleged sex cult in a planned documentary series involving the families of the victims. Three families have signed on so far to talk about their daughters being involved with Kelly. The R&B star is accused of grooming young women, sometimes underaged girls, to be his "sex pets", holding them against their will at his palatial Atlanta home. One of the girl's families even had the police perform a welfare check - Kelly's security turned the police away claiming the girl wasn't home despite many indications she was in the home at the time. The victims move in with R. Kelly then cease contact with their families.
