A couple in Sarasota says they found a 300-pound alligator in their swimming pool this morning. The couple lives in a neighborhood off University Parkway and Honore Avenue. According to WPTV-TV in West Palm Beach, the animal broke through the couple's screen to get into the pool. Wildlife officials removed the alligator. They estimate the animal is between 15 and 20 years old.
