Alabama Man Fed Meth To 'Attack Squirrel' To Keep It Aggressive: Police

Authorities in Alabama are searching for a man who allegedly captured a squirrel and fed it methamphetamine to ensure it remained aggressive. Police searched the home of Mickey Paulk and found his caged "attack squirrel" along with methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, ammunition, and body armor.

Paulk was not home at the time of the raid, but authorities did take 37-year-old Ronnie Reynolds into custody. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and loitering at a known drug house.

The officers were advised by wardens with Alabama Game and Fish Division of the Department of Conservation to release the squirrel back into the wild.

"The squirrel was released into a wooded area on the advice of Game and Fish wardens. It ran into the woods and did not attack the deputies who released it," the Limestone Sheriff's Office wrote on Facebook.

Anyone with information on Paulk's whereabouts should contact the sheriff's office at (256) 232-0111.
