For the second time in just two months, a massive chunk of ice fell from the sky and tore a hole through the roof of a home in California.
San Bernadino residents Claudell and Odell Curry say that their Sunday evening TV watching was suddenly interrupted when they heard a "horrendous boom" that rocked the house.
Uncertain as to what had just happened, they began looking around the home and were stunned to discover a rather large hole in the ceiling of their bedroom.
Strewn across their bed were pieces of insulation and drywall as well as the critical clue which explained the tremendous crash: chunks of ice.
Described as remarkably heavy, the frozen material is believed to have fallen from an airplane passing overhead and, fortunately, appeared to be white, which indicates that it did not come from the vessel's lavatory.
