Dying Doing What You Love Doing

I read this story, and I’ve kept it printed out next to me for the last day or so. I keep going back to me. Amid all the political stories, this one keeps attracting my attention, and causing my thoughts to wonder. Simply, this mind died doing what he loved doing. How many people can say that?
Maybe my favorite part of what we do is getting to hear the crazy, touching, horrifying and other perspectives that come in when we ask you to offer perspectives. So, go ahead. Someone famous, or a friend or family member. How did they die? I’m not really looking for more submissions to the 1001 Ways To Die show (although I confess I really enjoyed that show, terribly produced as it was). I’m looking for cases where someone died doing what they loved.
